Two-time Academy Award-winning actor Kevin Spacey will soon be teaching practical acting techniques via the Internet at MasterClass.com. The House of Cards star will cover methods to stand out in the casting room, share tips to perfect a monologue so it’s conversational, as well as break down ways to master impressions. The class is set for spring of 2016, and participants can expect over five hours of lessons. Instruction comes in the form of 29 video lessons and a 40-page workbook–both of which can be viewed at any pace. Students can likewise upload their own acting videos to receive feedback; Kevin himself will critique select student work.

Some of you may remember Dustin Hoffman also held a MasterClass just last summer. The San Francisco-based website features an assortment of online classes lead by celebrated experts; for instance, Usher teaches the art of performance, and James Patterson gives instruction on writing.

After Spacey won an Oscar for his performance in American Beauty, he stated he’s more interested in making an impact on other people’s careers and on audiences than he is in trying to make the “right” movies and staying “hot.” He’s bound to enlighten many actors through this class as he shares the techniques he used in creating his most iconic characters. The class has a price tag of $90, and is open for enrollment now.
